    (x+3)^2 - (y-5)^2 = 17-25+9 (x+3)^2 (y-5)^2 ------- - ------- = 1 1 1 center = (-3,5) foci = (-3+sqrt(2),5) (-3-sqrt(2),5) slope of asymps = 1 and -1
