Librarian must have a an index about the position of books he/she is having with them. whether it is in the library or is it with someone who is a member, when will they can provide the enquirer, the book . It is better they have a concise knowledge about the contents of the book by which they can help select the customer what kind of book they want according to their taste

Hi Gayathrisen, Library faculty should also be knowledgeable about a variety of resources, not just physical books. Today, students don't just rely on books for information, they rely heavily on digital resources, such as subject guides, online databases, and streaming video collections.
