I don't think that the location of "Manor Farm" is ever stated. There are several manor farms in England. The book, originally titled "Animal Farm: a fairy story" and also a satire, was published in London, England. I also read that Orwell suggested that his book when published in France be titled Russia's Animal Farm as a social commentary on the revolution and corrupt leadership. So along with that theme, animal farms could exist anywhere and everywhere.

    The farm represents Russia.
