Well...it is just really obvious http://www.linfo.org/computerscience.html "Computer science is the study of the storage, transformation and transfer of information. The field encompasses both the theoretical study of algorithms (including their design, efficiency and application) and the practical problems involved in implementing them in terms of computer software and hardware."

yeah, how to talk to the computer it is more like programming, using programming languages. Computer Science is more than that... It is a Composed word of two words: Computer and Science, those meanings are individually from their own, but when we unite both, we got something that is prodigical. Computer is the instrument, the action of computing and the science is the verb, the "How and why" and scientifict method of doing things to explain stuff, for our own advantage and also for fun :) So Computer Science is more than just talking to the computer, that's technically programming, Computer Science is a dicipline that fits with all other diciplines to solve dilemas, problems or situations programatically, with algorithms, the heuristic way or the TAE way... If you want to be a Computer Scientist, you must define by yourself , based upon your own research of what it is, Computer Science and then start your path of learning it and having fun while doing it :)
