Identify the value of the x-intercept by estimating -b/m...y=2x-2 The y intercept is (0, -2)

    x-intercept is the point where the line intersects the x-axis. But, we know for any point in the x-axis the y-coordinate is 0. So just put y=0 in the eqn to get the x-intercept. Ans: (1,0)

    Thanks. Even with the -b/m....I still work it the same way? I kept coming up with 2!
