I'm planing to write a paper on death on the internet, the digital afterlife or the digital beyond. Already found some interesting sources like http://www.thedigitalbeyond.com/ or http://www.deathanddigitallegacy.com/ does anybody know some professional papers about the topic?

    Some months ago Wired published an article with that title, maybe it can help? It's easy to find, since it was cover story.
