    Bring the 2x to the other side by substracting it 4x - 2x - 21 = -3 Bring -21 to the other side by adding it 4x - 2x = +21 - 3 Simplify 2x = 18 x = 9

    in math we seldom bring things. we usually add, subtract, multiply or divide. sometimes we bring apples to our teachers

    steps are : add 21 to both sides subtract 2x from both sides divide by 2
