Does this board also encompass the subject of music? Or is it strictly visual arts? If open to music questions, can anyone recommend artists similar to Sibelius?

Well, isn't music apart of art? So, I think it would be okay... :P Like Sibelius, huh? Sibelius is a music/vocal editing software, correct? Well, there are many like that today. My favorites are VOCALOID and Anvil Studio. But, VOCALOID is especially for Japanese vocalists. And, Anvil Studio, with the free version, you can assemble/compose songs using multiple instruments. It plays back your composition as a midi file and displays the sheet music. http://www.anvilstudio.com/ Hope I helped! c:
