What emf, E is required to complete the Circuit shown? (If terminal A is to be positive we will take E as being Positive if A is negative then E is negative ).

    28V. If you use superposition. ie replace 8V with s/c the current = E/10A (Clockwise). Then replace E voltage source with s/c and current = .8A. Therefore .1E-.e=2 ....Hence E =28
