Start with the basic five paragraph essay. It includes an intro with has an attention getter and some background information. The last sentence of the intro should be your thesis, your main idea of the essay. Then have three paragraphs with your topic sentence being the overall idea of that paragraph, in the middle is the evidence supporting it, and then a closing sentence to wrap it up. repeat that three times. Then your conclusion should wrap up the entire essay. DO NOT BRING NEW INFORMATION INTO THE CONCLUSION. Restate your thesis and make a closing statement. Then you're done!
