    2 protein deficiency diseases = protein S and protein C both are a part of the coagulation pathway aiding in anti-coagulation. therefore, deficiencies of these proteins can lead to clotting disorders. examples of clotting disorders are 1. deep vein thrombosis - a clot in your leg 2. superficial thrombophlebitis - a clot in your arm 3. or pulmonary embolism - a clot in your lungs

    Kwashiorkor is a type of malnutrition which can be more specifically called a protein deficiency disease. It's commonly seen in developing countries, particularly those experiencing some sort of food shortage, as in a drought or famine.
