    So picture a number line. If we have -28 and we add 38, we are moving to the right. Add 28 and we are at 0. Then we have 10 left over. So we are at 10. Now we move 44 units left due to the -44. Move left 10, you have 0 again. Now we have 34 left over. So our final answer is -34. Please Like Tutor Sean on facebook.
