15=4.3n-2.1(n-4) distribute to get rid of the parentheses 15=4.3n-2.1n+8.4 combine like terms 15=2.2n+8.4 Get n by itself (subtract 8.4 from both sides) 6.6=2.2n divide both sides by 2.2 to get n alone n=3
