why we call a column or row matrices as column vector and row vector?

    Deep relation, actually, but a column matrix is the same thing as a column vector, a m x 1 matrix/ m dimensional vector.

    vector is something directional what matrix have to do vectors its just array of numbers

    vectors are often parts of matrices; matrices are composed of a number of column/row vectors. you perform operations between matrices and vectors such as multiplication.
