    Please write down the whole thing, not just the question, because it's not quite easy to understand this way. Anyhow, you cannot cross cancel these two. 23 is a prime number.

    You can't cross cancel these two, but you can cross cancel four and six, so that you have \[\frac{45*2}{23*3}\] So you have \[\frac{90}{69}\] Now you can divide both denominator and numerator by 3 getting 30/23
