    impedance is a type of resistance to current flow and is given by where Xl is inductive reactance and Xc is capacitive reactance

    impedance is basically resistance of LCR circuit

    Impedance is a general term. In electrical engg. impedance is the property of the system(ckt) which is nothing but the measurement of opposition to electrical current when ckt is exposed to an excitation(voltage).

    Impedance is nothing but the voltage current ratio: \[Z = V / I\]
