If two poles are 20m and 80 m height and they are separated by 100m then the height of the intersection of the lines joining the top of each pole to the foot of the other pole is?

    using similar triangle properties: L/20=B/100 and L/80=A/100 solving these equations we get A=B/4 A+B=100; Solve for B. Then Substitute in the first equation.
