A pluralist would say that it is both. Meaning, the joy of life should not be confined to an end nor a process. To clarify, I found happiness through my trip to Japan. Each destination I arrived at made me happy and so did the things I did along the way. Hope that helps = )

Happiness is different for each person, really. But for everyone it is just a satisfying feeling. Everything feels right and where it should be.
