    x - 2 < 3 x < 5 and x + 2 > -2 x > -4 So you have -4 < x < 5 Plot a number line with this.

    erm, my handwriting with the mouse is awful. That's a line from -4 to 5. The middle number is 0, just to show you some more details. You should highlight from -4 to 5 on the line and put circles (not filled in circles) around -4 and 5.
