solve for x: (x)(10) = 50 - (x)(5) - (x)(20)

    do this equation looks weird to me alittle? I'm unsure of your notation just because it looks weird. Do you mind to elaborate what does ()() mean?

    usually it means multiply but if you have (x)(10) and you do mean it to be multiplication most people write this as 10x

    sorry the parathesis are just multiplication notation
