how does the cell cycle work? does it apply to mieosis?

    The cell cycle does apply to meiosis & mitosis in most if not all circumstances The part below goes with the picture outer ring: I = Interphase, M = Mitosis; inner ring: M = Mitosis, G1 = Gap 1, G2 = Gap 2, S = Synthesis; not in ring: G0 = Gap 0/Resting.[1]
