A picture frame is shaped like a rectangle whose perimeter is 322 cm. The Length is 6 times as long as the width. Find the length and the width.

    perimeter of a rectangle: 2( L + B) L = 6 B perimeter = 322 therefore: 322 = 2 (B + 6B) 322 = 2(7B) 322=14B by division B= 23 and therefore L = 138.
