Bread, Cheese, Beer, and Wine where all staples. Fish was eaten if fish could be caught, Cows, Chickens, Fowls, and Pigs where eaten. Depending on the times and location, Deer was either hunted and ate by everyone or just the nobility. Vegetables depended on the area and local superstition. [Example: Tomato's where thought to be poisonous because of their relation to the night shade family]
