A bullet of mass 0.01 kg is fired from a gun weighing 5 kg. If the initial speed of the bullet is 250 m/s, calculate the speed with which the gun recoils.

    0.01 * 250 = v * 5

    Does the gun weigh 5kg with the bullet in it, or does it weigh 5kg without the bullet. Don't let them catch you!

    Why mass of bullet * it's velocity is equal to weight of gun * it's speed of recoil ?
