What is the solution of the system? 7x + 5y = 19 –7x – 2y = –16

    there are other ways to do it too i find this way the most easiest and to get x: you make your y value equal meaning, make you y value 10 to make the y value 10 you multiply the whole equation by 2 7x+5y=19 ----> 14x+10y=38 -7x-2y=-16 (multiply 5 to get 10y)----> -14-10x = -80 |dw:1325826985217:dw|
