    This question has been posted twice. Is it a science question yet when you ask 'why' it becomes a philosophical question. eg Why is the moon a circle ? Why is gravity always acting downwards ?

    It is important because we can see what the food did to them.If it was healthy or harmful.If it was good or nasty.
