I wish. Circadian clocks are actually a fascinating area of current research (was it last week's issue of Nature or two weeks ago, the article about gluticosteroid signalling?) but the basic consensus about falling asleep quickly is, don't consume caffeine before bedtime and don't eat a sugary snack before it, either.

A circadian clock is basically a molecular fluctuation or mechanism (like varying levels of a protein or concentration of a signalling molecule) by which your body keeps track of when it's time to sleep and when it's time to wake up. Gluticosteroid signalling fluctuates based on how recently you've eaten. So the article I read was about how feeding relates to your ability to fall asleep. If you're tired, don't worry about circadian clocks or intracellular signalling pathways. Just go to bed. :D

The best way to fall asleep fast is to not fall asleep fast at all. If you think too hard about falling asleep and "try" to fall asleep it makes it very hard to sleep. The best thing to do is just lie in bed - don't worry about not being asleep - and just relax, maybe just listen to your breathing or the sounds of the night - let yourself think and just let your thoughts drift about in your head. The key is don't worry and relax :)

You can read a boring book before you go to sleep and then you will fall asleep fast. You can also watch a boring T.V. show which can make you fall asleep but it is not healthy. According to a new reasearch, Watching T.V. before going to the bed is not healthy for your body.
Eat sleeping pills. That's the easiest thing or open a boring history chapter!!
