When you write the similarity statement, corresponding parts must be in the same order. So we would write: dw:1326222700581:dw

To describe the sides we would say that the ratio of side AB to side DE is equal to the ratio of side BC to side EF which is equal to the ratio of side AC to side DF.

And the description is that corresponding sides are proportional or that they have the same ratio which is another way of saying the same thing.

We do not have to prove they are similar. It said to draw two similar triangles. Not to prove that two triangles are similar.
