What's the best free (and easy to configure and use) IDE for Mac OSX? Looking for one that auto-suggests commands, etc. I tried Eclipse with PyDev extension, but could never get it to work right. Thanks.

In my opinion if you just want to the problem sets for this class than the native IDLE is fine. Have you tried and don't like it?
I used that quite a lot, but I'm looking for something that auto completes / suggests commands and checks syntax. I end up spending a lot of time trying to debug, or look up something, which would be caught or suggested by a decent IDE.
Update: Komodo Edit and PyCharm are both great, but Komodo Edit is free.
