Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.3First off, what do you need to do in this problem? It looks like you have to convert 300 cal from calories to kilocalories. How many calories are in a kilocalorie? In the metric system, what does the prefix kilo mean? Using that information, you can set up a conversion factor. In this problem, the number of grams isn't useful at all, since the mass has nothing to do with a conversion from calories to kilocalories.
