I don't think it's anything inherently bad. With regard to "how to do it" that may be a shadowfiend question. I've never used the drawing tool much, and that was his invention. haha
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking? The drawing looks like a reasonably normal size from here...
it's not here anymore, maybe someone deleted it... can you look at history? drawing was across whole screen..

There were two other drawings here of the word "Bore" or "Boring". They were really vertically large; more than my screen size. As moderator I deleted them because they weren't germane at all to the answer and they made the post hard to read.

(and for the record, I deleted them before I saw this post. Sorry for messing up this 'bug investigation', but I think I did the right thing for the group based on what I was seeing at the time.)
James—absolutely, and I appreciate your being on top of that. It is indeed possible to make a large drawing, and I'm not suuper-concerned about it. I'm glad you were in there cleaning things up for us :)

That was an IE bug. Posting from IE8 would make the drawing 1000px tall. It'll be fixed for the next release.
