i am trying to get them! but they just confuse me alot
Divide both sides by -6 and don't forget to reverse the inequality symbol because you will be dividing by a negative number.
That's the thing. She doesn't really have to do that. I think that's the confusing part. I was trying to convince her to do it a different way:
-6x < 30
Subtract 30 from both sides, then add 6x to both sides:
-30 < 6x
Then divide both sides by 6:
-30/6 < x
-5 < x
but i dont know if it is a open crcle or a closed one?
It is open. Because it is only > or < not >= or <=.
