In our business class we are looking at roles in marketing society each of us got a role to look at and describe how it associate with marketing. I got THE AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCT VARIANT but i do not understand what are product variants i need help!!!!

    products can be classified into new product or new offering.... when a product is released into the market with add on features to an already existing product; it becomes a product variant.( if a product with entirely new features is developed it becomes a new product. if the already existing product is delivered with new intangibles it is called new offering.ex:coke offering a limited edition cans for football world cup.(the product is same but with new intangibles) offering is a super set and new product is a subset.
