Score: A wooden fence 6 ft. high and 300 ft. long is to be painted. How many gallons of paint are needed if one gallon covers 400 sq. ft.?

    I am going to assume that both sides of the fence are to be painted.

    The airea to be painted is 2 X 6 X 300 =3600 Sq. feet divide that by 400 to determine how many gallon gives an answer of 9 gallons.
