as far as i know, no correlation between cutting any kind of body hair and its faster and sturdier regrowing has been made yet. so no one will be able to tell you this one for sure. I personally think that it doesn't groƟ faster. It's just a maturation thing that it grows faster when you're older. but that's just an opinion.

All hairs grow longer from the root on up. Trimming doesn't affect the rate at which hairs grow. If eyebrows were trimmed, they'd keep on growing too. The reason they don't need to be trimmed is that they fall out and are replaced by new hairs every so often.
