    the major reason for habitat loss is mostly due to humans needing more space and more resources for our own wants. So land development, turning forest into farms. We are the reason! lol

    The current main reason is human intrussion. However, the main natural reason is due to weather pattern changes and the amount of water (It caused the creation of the Sahara).
