We have Shakespeare's 'As You Like It' in our syllabus. We've been writing answers to extract questions from the prose for a long time now (in our exams), but I still don't know how to answer to the question, don't know the exact answer to a question though I've read through the text, and have very little confidence in answering questions overall. I don't know how to write to the examiner's expectations. P.S. Would you like a sample question?

Duke Senior- "True is it that we have seen better days, And have with holy bell been knoll'd to church, And sat at good men's feasts and wip'd our eyes, Of drops that sacred pity hath engender'd, And therefore sit you down in gentleness And take upon command what help we have That to your wanting may be minister'd. " (one of the questions given) 'And take upon command what help we have That to your wanting may be minster'd. ' Bring out the meaning of the above lines. What quality of the Senior Duke is revealed here? Here's my blabber worthy answer- Duke Senior says through those lines, to Orlando to help himself to what they had the he needed. The gentle , kind quality of Duke Senior is revealed here. He understands the situation of Orlando with empathy.
