Please help me factor this: 4x^2+2x+9 could you explain it to me in steps? Thank you

    you would have to use the quadratic formula, x= (-b \[\pm\]\[\sqrt{b^2-4ac}\]) \[\div\](2a)

    We have not learned the quadratic formula yet, but this is part of a problem, maybe that makes a difference the entire problem is: (175x^2+55x-10)/(-14x^2-19x-3) /(9x^2-3x-6)/(4x^2+2x+9) I am lost...

    I am supposed to simplify the equation so the (175x2+55x−10)/(−14x2−19x−3) is one half of the problem (it is in fraction form) all divided by (9x2−3x−6)÷(4x2+2x+9) once again this is in fraction form. Thank you for all of your help, I sincerely hope I am not confusing you
