    You see that these two angles are equal in degrees. Set them equal to each other to first solve for x. 15x+18 = 23x-14 Then when you solved x, plug x back into these numbers to find what the angles are. Add them together.

    m<abc=m<abd +m<dbc m<abc=15x+18 + 23x _14 m<abc=38x+4

    It is obvious that the two angles which comprise angle ABC are not equal.
