And this can be done easily...for example puting a link to an online newspaper...by just doing that you will save some trees every week...and be original ;) Your "pet"/"symbol" is an owl, you might be able to do something about it
Hmm... Sustainable development is a definitely good thing, and we'd love to help, but we don't have much time to support more than the site itself at the moment. We have trouble keeping up with the "official" groups as it is. I'd say, try to gather some interest from other users to join your group, and then maybe create it and ask them to join. There's little promotion that we can do. Even official groups mostly grow because we have external links pointing in, and we haven't brought on new partners for that in a while as we focus on other aspects of the site.
And shadow, as I have mentioned before, please keep an eye on the new groups being created. As more and more groups get created, very less people join them. What's the point in creating new groups unless someone joins it?
