    in animals vacoules are also present but in v.minimum amount so we neglect it, coming to ur ques. in animal it helps in transporting substance as vesicle convert into vacuoles accros the cell and in plants it helps in storing water.

    Inplants, vacuoles help in storing waste materials also.
