they can chat and answer the post but cant get medals until they have a profile
Hmmm i dont know about that..... what is making a account that takes like a minute too much trouble? hahaha jk Its a good idea though
People without profiles would be hard to distinguish from other people without profiles. This will make it hard to moderate I believe. I think all users need a profile to participate in any openstudy games.
no with unknown## as thier name
This is interesting, I've been thinking along these lines, but more towards how to let new users ask their first question before signing up.
so they can test the water before jumping in?
Yeah, and to make getting help much easier and faster for them. It's a fairly longish process right now.
That's a good suggestion, the new users should be able to test openstudy, its accuracy, how fast you get help etc. ....
I agree, but on the other hand, as Myininaya said, it would make everything hard for the moderators. There are always some people trolling around. If they come as anonymous, OS cannot block them; but if they create an account, their email would be blocked and as you know, creating emails one after another makes people quite tired! ;)
or with the name ufo(unidentified flying owl)##
I've taken the hint and added some details to my profile. My intention was to help when and where I could without becoming too involved but I see you point, so now you can know me better but I'm not sure it will change anything. Cheers to all.
