Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0First Outside Inside Last Say you have (x+y)(x+y). You take the first two and multiply them together, then go to the outside and multiply those together and add, and then multiply the last two. So the foil of (x+y)(x+y)=x^2+xy+xy+y^2=x^2+2xy+y^2
