    no it dosent have an A or B its just like that like the middle is 3x-4 and the base is 16

    Well then, the midsegment is 1/2 of the base. So 3x-4=8 Solve that.

    The principal is that the sum of any two sides has to be greater than the third side.

    But 7+15 is 22 so I would have said that the third side has to be greater than 22. But that is not one of the choices.
