    are you talking about 1/cos or arccos.... very different things...

    prob arccos or inverse cos. think of your unit circle, what angle makes cosA = -1 ?

    are you doing questions on solving trig equations or solving inverse trig equations...

    just cos ^-1 (1) looks like arc cos
