how many ATP are produced by the complet oxidation of one pyruic acid molecule.

    2 molecules of pyruvic acid will produce 6 ATP molecules from 2NADH on the cristae of the mitchondria...so one pyruvic acid produces 3ATP

    this is very confused question .i think one molecule produces 13ATP .

    sorry i messed sth up.......forget my previous answer......here's what i think is the correct answer During the Krebs cycle, ONLY ONE ATP is produced per pyruvate. This means that 2 total are produced during the Krebs cycle when both pyruvic acids have gone through it.....but for more info i think you should do more reading cuz it's confusing
