$5\sqrt{320}$

2. anonymous

40*sqrt(5)

3. anonymous

Can you please explain?

4. anonymous

320 is 5 * 64, sqrt of 64 is 8. 8 * 5 = 40

If it's not that easy for you try dividing the number under the root symbol by 4. And then again, if possible. For example: sqrt(320) = sqrt(4 * 80) = 2*sqrt(80) = 2*sqrt(4 * 20) = 4*sqrt(20) = 4*sqrt(4 * 5) = 8*sqrt(5)

$5\sqrt{320}=5 \times \sqrt {64} \times \sqrt 5=5 \times 8 \times \sqrt5 = 40\sqrt5$
