Write the decimal as a fraction, then find each quotient: 4.5/ 0.9=....

    So then after all i have to do is divide 45 by 10? and 10/9?

    therefore your question is\[{ ({45 \over 10}) \over ({9 \over 10})}={45 \over 9}=5\]
