josh drives 45 miles from appleton to berwyn at a constant speed of 30 miles an hour. on the return trip he drives from at the constant speed of 60 miles an hour. what is josh's average speed from appleton to berwyn and back? i calculated how long it took josh to drive 45 miles at 30mph which is 1.5 hours and how long it took him to drive back which is .75 miles and then i added the total distance traveled which was 90 divided by the total time traveled to get an average speed of 40mph is that correct?
