## anonymous 4 years ago how do you show vector d = vector a - vector b

1. TuringTest

|dw:1327895801958:dw|$\overrightarrow{a}+\overrightarrow{b}=\overrightarrow{c}\to\overrightarrow{a}=\overrightarrow{c}-\overrightarrow{b}\to\overrightarrow{b}=\overrightarrow{c}-\overrightarrow{a}\to\dots$etc. I'm not sure how to do a formal proof on it...

thanks, I need to know how to show vector d=vector a - vector b

3. TuringTest

Vectors add head to tail|dw:1327896350968:dw|so we have$\overrightarrow{a}=\overrightarrow{b}+\overrightarrow{d}$which means that$\overrightarrow{d}=\overrightarrow{a}-\overrightarrow{b}$is as close as I get offhand to a proof.

okay, thank you

yeah, that worked, thanks again
